Wholesale Rifle Magazines

American Rifle Magazines supplies gun shops, ranges, gunsmiths, and FFL dealers with the full Marlin and Remington 783 magazine lineup at wholesale pricing, direct from our shop in Naugatuck, Connecticut. This guide lists exactly what we stock so you can plan an order, whether you're restocking a case for a shop counter or filling a one-time bulk order.

Who this is for

Our wholesale program is built for businesses that move volume on Marlin rimfire and Remington 783 replacement magazines: gun shops, ranges, gunsmiths, FFL dealers, and retailers. If you sell or service these two rifle platforms, a wholesale account gets you bulk pricing on the same US-made, factory-pattern magazines listed below.

Why shops stock ARM instead of importing generic magazines

  • US-made, factory-pattern: every magazine is manufactured in the USA to the original factory dimensions for the specific rifle it's built for, which means fewer fitment complaints and returns at your counter than a generic universal import.
  • Manufacturer-direct: you're buying from the company that makes the magazines, not a distributor several layers removed from production.
  • In stock, current production: the models listed in the tables below are current, not discontinued or special-order, so restock orders don't leave a gap on your shelf.

Customers who've had a bad experience with a loose-fitting aftermarket magazine tend to come back for the factory-pattern version once they see the difference — that repeat business is easier to build when the first magazine you sold them worked correctly.

We also stock the Clip-Rite fit fix for Marlin Model 80C, 80DL, 80E, and 80G rifles — a low-cost add-on for shops that see a lot of older Marlin bolt-actions come through with loose magazine wells. It's an easy upsell alongside a magazine sale on any Model 80-series rifle that comes in with a fit complaint, since it solves the well itself rather than requiring another magazine purchase.

Stocking both finishes

Black oxide and nickel-plated magazines are functionally identical — the choice a customer makes comes down to matching their rifle's finish or personal preference for corrosion resistance and easy cleanup. Most of the Marlin .22 LR and .22 WMR/.17 HMR magazines above are available in both finishes, so a shop stocking one of each capacity in both finishes covers the widest range of walk-in requests without guessing which one a given customer will want.

Cross-referencing rebadged rifles at the counter

A customer bringing in a Glenfield, JC Higgins, or Western Auto-branded .22 has a Marlin-built rifle under a different name, and it takes the same magazine as its Marlin equivalent. Knowing this at the counter saves a return trip — the rebadge fitment guide maps every common store-brand model to the correct Marlin part number.

Fitment reference for your counter staff

Point walk-in customers to the Marlin Magazine Guide or the Remington 783 Magazine Guide to confirm fitment by model number or caliber before ringing up a sale — both guides break down every model and part number in the tables above. If a customer's rifle is a Glenfield, JC Higgins, or Western Auto store brand, the rebadge fitment guide maps it to the correct Marlin magazine.

How to open a wholesale account

Contact us with your business details — shop name, FFL or resale information, and the volume you're looking to order — and we'll get you set up with wholesale pricing. Because every magazine is manufactured in-house rather than imported in batches, we can support steady restock orders for accounts rather than one-time overseas shipments that dry up.

Shipping and order handling

Orders received by 10AM EST ship the same business day; orders received after 10AM EST, or on a weekend or holiday, ship the next business day. That applies to wholesale restock orders the same as retail. If a magazine arrives defective or the wrong part was shipped, we'll replace it or refund the order — if the wrong item was originally ordered, a new order needs to be placed to correct it.

Planning a restock order

Because the Marlin and Remington lines each split into several non-interchangeable families — caliber first, then capacity, then finish — the fastest way to plan a restock is to look at which models actually come through your counter. A shop that sees mostly older bolt-action Marlins will lean on the 71903 family; one that services more 795s and 70-series semi-autos will move more 71900/71901/71902 product. Remington 783 demand generally tracks whichever short-action, long-action, and magnum calibers are most common among your customers' rifles, so checking your own sales and service history is a better guide to restock quantities than assuming one caliber outsells another nationally.

Capacity restrictions apply to wholesale orders too

Extended-capacity magazines — the 556-XT15, the 783 XT, and the 10-round Marlin variants — are subject to the same state-by-state restrictions as retail orders. If you're shipping to or stocking a location in a restricted state, check the magazine capacity laws by state guide before placing a bulk order.
