How to Choose: Caliber, Then Capacity, Then Finish

Caliber. .22 WMR and .17 HMR rifles use the same magazine body, so you don't need to choose between them — you just need to confirm your rifle is one of the two and not a .22 LR. A .22 WMR/.17 HMR magazine will not fit a .22 LR rifle.

Capacity. We build these in 4-round, 7-round, and 10-round capacities, covering models including the 882, 982, 782, 980, 25MN, 25M, 925M, 17V/917V/17VS, and XT-22WMR — check the product description against your model number to confirm. The Marlin 922M semi-auto takes its own dedicated 7-round magazine, listed separately, since it isn't a universal fit for other .22 WMR models.

Finish. Black oxide and nickel-plated are the same steel magazine underneath; pick whichever matches your rifle's barrel finish.

.22 Mag Magazines Do Not Fit .22 LR Rifles

This is the most common ordering mistake we see. A .22 WMR / .17 HMR magazine will not fit a .22 LR magazine well — the magnum cartridge is longer, and the magazine body is built around it. If your rifle is chambered in .22 Long Rifle, shop our .22 LR magazines instead.
