Our new Marlin 556-XT Bolt Action Rifle magazine is compatible with Marlin Bolt Action Model 780/25 guns (see Specifications below for additional gun compatibilities), and is an extended-capacity version of one of our best sellers, the Marlin Models 780/25 22LR Bolt Action 71903 Rifle Magazine. With its 22LR 15-round capacity, you can now more than double your capacity for only a little bit more in price. We are also planning to introduce a 10-round compliant version for those in the United States that are 10 rounds only.
The Marlin 556-XT features a slight ramp on the front top of the magazine to allow the bullet to easily travel from the magazine to the gun barrel hole. This has made feeding and cycling the magazine work very well. Please Note, If your current 7 round magazine is not sitting secure when inserted into the rifle and you find a lot of movement back and forth wait to purchase, as we are making a bottom magazine clip out of spring steel that will secure the magazine into place and remove any looseness.
Our upgraded Marlin 22LR mag offers significant advantages for both shooting practice and hunting trips. For shooting practice, the extended capacity means fewer interruptions to reload, allowing for longer, more focused practice sessions. On a hunting trip, the increased capacity ensures you have more rounds at your disposal, reducing the need to reload in critical moments and enhancing your overall efficiency and readiness in the field.

Please Note: On some of the Model 80’s, the rivet we use sticks out a bit and may not allow the magazine to fully engage. To correct this, all you need to do is grind down the rivet or cut out the bottom magazine plate to allow the rivets to pass through and the magazine to fully engage.
